Hi, my name is Avril. 

I am an illustrator and designer from Norfolk, England. After spending the past six years investigating and getting a diagnosis for a medical condition that had been affecting my life, I found that my love and passion for creativity got lost along the way. My head was spinning with creative ideas, but when I sat down at my desk with the anticipation to get started nothing was being transferred to paper.

Since receiving a diagnosis and starting to gain back control of my life again, I have decided to document my journey to rediscovering my love for creativity. I hope to eventually prove to myself and others that may find themselves in a similar situation that a medical condition doesn't define you; and it definitely shouldn't stop you from pursuing what you love.

I have had a background in illustration since the age of sixteen and was ecstatic to receive a First Class Honorary Degree in Illustration at University. I am also learning to become a Glass Blower and have found that the beautiful colours and admiration for the immense dedication my trainers have needed to become an expert in this ancient trade, has inspired me.

Everything that you see in my shop has been handcrafted by myself and is most likely linked to a video I have made documenting my progress.
